Managed

EFG builds and leads the team.

“Build it for me.”

Need a team without taking on its daily management? EFG recruits, builds, and manages the team while supporting the people behind it, from training and IT support to payroll and administration. You set the objectives; EFG manages day-to-day execution.

Co-Managed

You direct the work. EFG supports the people.

“You direct. We support.”

Already have the direction and process? You assign the work and set priorities. EFG finds the people and handles the support behind their roles — recruiting, HR, IT, training, payroll, compliance — for ongoing needs or defined projects.

Illustrative examples

Managed: a business wants a sales team but does not want to lead it

EFG recruits the representatives, works with the team's manager to distribute the work, directs the day to day, and handles HR support, IT support, training and coaching, payroll, benefits, and compliance. The owner sets the business objective and sees reporting on results rather than managing the team. This is an illustrative example from EFG's presentation, not a named customer or a guaranteed sales outcome.

Co-Managed: a business already has a bookkeeping process and needs a bookkeeper

EFG finds and hires the bookkeeper. The business assigns the daily tasks and keeps its own process. EFG carries HR support, IT support, training and development, engagement, payroll and benefits, compliance, and administration behind the role. The same arrangement can support a defined project; a three-month engagement appears as an example in EFG's presentation and is not a standard term.

The growth chain

More opportunity should not mean more overload.

Pressure does not land in one department. Operations, finance, HR, and customer service all get busier, and leadership spends more time managing tasks instead of growing the company.

  2. 02  More Work
  3. 03  More Hiring
  4. 04  More Management

The hidden capacity problem

Your best people may be doing work they should not be doing.

  • Salespeople doing admin
  • Managers chasing follow-ups
  • Executives solving operational issues
  • HR teams overwhelmed with recruiting

A blended strategy, not a single source

Four inputs aligned to one business objective. Nobody has to be replaced — the point is more value from what is already in place, plus what is missing.

  • Internal knowledge What your existing team already understands about the business.
  • Specialized talent The specific capability the objective requires.
  • External support Recruiting, HR, and administration you do not have to build.
  • Tools and process The right tools and a workable process behind the role.
From headcount to capacity

The better question is not “how many employees do we have?” It is “how much can our organization accomplish?”

Where your business needs more capacity

Six places capacity usually runs short.

Capability categories, not engagement models. Any of them can be delivered Managed or Co-Managed, depending on who directs the daily work.

Sales Teams & Support

Keep selling time on selling, and give the pipeline the follow-up it needs.

  • Sales representatives
  • Sales support
  • Follow-up & CRM administration

Customer Service & Intake

Answer the calls, book the appointments, and capture every enquiry.

  • Live answering & virtual reception
  • Live chat & appointment booking
  • Bilingual voice & legal intake support

Administrative & Operations Support

Move routine coordination off the desks of the people running the business.

  • Executive assistants
  • Coordinators
  • Back-office support

Accounting & Finance Support

Keep the books current and the invoices moving without adding a finance layer.

  • Bookkeeping
  • Payroll support
  • Accounts receivable support

IT & Technical Support

Add technical hands so tickets and projects do not queue behind one person.

  • Helpdesk resources
  • Technical support resources
Talk about technical capacity

Marketing & Creative Support

Keep campaigns, content, and design work in motion between bigger projects.

  • Marketing specialists
  • Design
  • Content support
Talk about marketing capacity

Payroll support as a client work function is different from EFG's administration of payroll for the people it supplies. Likewise, technical talent placed into your business is different from the IT support EFG provides behind every engagement.

A process that starts with the business

We find the capabilities your business needs.

Traditional recruiting is passive: post a role and wait for the right person to find it. We work the other way around — identify the capability the business is missing, then go and find it.

  1. Step 01

    Identify

Define the business need and the capabilities it requires.

  2. Step 02

    Search

Go and find those capabilities rather than waiting for applications.

  3. Step 03

    Qualify

Test the fit against the role, the team, and the way you work.

  4. Step 04

    Build

Put the team and the structure around the objective.

  5. Step 05

    Support

Carry the people and the engagement once the work is running.

This is the talent process. A separate engagement roadmap — Assess, Strengthen, Build, Scale — describes how a relationship with EFG develops over time. The two are not stages of one methodology. See the engagement roadmap.

What more capacity makes possible

  • Sell more Sales focuses on selling.
  • Serve more Customers get attention.
  • Move faster Work flows with less friction.
  • Reduce burnout Load is distributed effectively.
  • Focus leadership Leaders lead.
  • Scale operations Growth becomes repeatable.

More value from the team you already have

Cost efficiency is not only about spending less.

Most of the saving comes from cost you never take on: recruiters, sourcing tools, HR infrastructure, and management layers that arrive with the model instead of being built in-house.

  • Skip the setup cost Recruiters, sourcing tools, systems, and HR infrastructure come with the model.
  • Fewer vacancy costs An open role costs lost productivity and missed sales. Proactive search shortens that gap.
  • Fewer repeat-hire costs Better matching means less turnover and less repeated recruiting.
  • Protect senior payroll Stop paying senior compensation for work that does not require it.
  • Match support to the need Adjust capacity for ongoing growth or for a defined project.
Why EFG?

People prepared to work with AI tools

EFG trains its people to work with AI tools as part of everyday work. It is part of how the team is prepared, not a separate product or a promise of automatic productivity gains.

The difference in practice

Why businesses choose EFG

  • Business-first team design The objective comes first, then the talent, structure, process, and support that serve it.
  • Proactive talent search We go out and find the capability instead of posting and waiting.
  • Two clear management models Managed or Co-Managed. You choose how involved you want to be.
  • Support behind the people HR, IT, training, engagement, payroll, compliance, and administration are part of the engagement.
  • Flexible around capacity Ongoing growth or a defined project, scoped to what the business actually needs.

Common questions

Before you talk to us.

What is the difference between Managed and Co-Managed?

Who directs the daily work. Under Managed, EFG builds the team and works with the team’s manager to distribute work and direct the day to day. Under Co-Managed, you assign the tasks and set priorities. In both models you set the business objectives, and in both models EFG handles recruiting and staffing, HR and IT support, training and development, engagement, payroll and benefits, compliance, and administration.

Can EFG work alongside our existing managers or HR team?

Yes. Many businesses already have a capable HR team and simply need more capability behind it. Under Managed, EFG works with the team’s manager on distributing work. Under Co-Managed, your managers keep direction of the daily work and EFG supports the people behind the roles.

Can we get support for a temporary project?

Yes. Project-based support is a flexibility option, most often within Co-Managed: EFG hires the person, you assign the tasks, and EFG carries the support behind the role. A three-month engagement appears as an example in EFG’s presentation; it is an example, not a standard package or a minimum term.

What does EFG handle beyond recruiting?

Recruiting and staffing are the beginning. EFG also carries HR support, IT support, training and development, employee engagement, payroll and benefits administration, compliance, and administrative services behind the people it places. Support is described as the responsibilities EFG administers; it does not remove your own legal obligations as a business.

How do we decide which model fits?

Start with one question: do you want to direct this work, or do you want it directed for you? If you already have the process, the priorities, and someone to assign the work, Co-Managed usually fits. If you want the outcome without running the team day to day, Managed usually fits. If you are not sure, say so on the enquiry form and we will work through it with you.
